• READ THIS SECTION FIRST before proceeding with more specific set up instructions elsewhere! This section provides the BASIC information you'll need to set up your stand-alone e-mail client software (no matter what it is).

  Username and Password

  • Use your account's full E-Mail Address as your username. Remember to do this for both your POP/IMAP username and your SMTP username.
  • Use the password provided by your administrator.

  NOTE: Username/password authentication MUST be enabled in order to SEND e-mail!

  NOTE: Passwords are CaSe SeNsItIvE!

  NOTE: You CAN change your password via our WebMail interface (using your "mailboxes" hostname). See details below under the "WebMail Interface" section.

  Server Names

  • outgoing - mail.tqci.com
  • incoming - mail.tqci.com

   

  Protocols and Port Numbers

  Insecure Transports (defaults)

  • incoming and outgoing servers:  mail.tqci.com
  • outgoing - SMTP - port 26 (alternate 587) [username/password authentication MUST be enabled!]
  • incoming - IMAP - port 143
  • incoming - POP3 - port 110

  Secure Transports (SSL)

  • incoming and outgoing servers: host21.registrar-servers.com
  • outgoing - SMTP - port 465 [username/password authentication MUST be enabled!] -
  • incoming - IMAP - port 993  
  • incoming - POP3 - port 995
    

EMAIL SETTINGS FOR MOBILE DEVICES

Username: your e-mail address
Password: your password
Incoming server type: IMAP or POP3
Incoming server (IMAP): 993 port for SSL, 143 for TLS.
Incoming server (POP3): 995 port for SSL, 110 for TLS.
Outgoing server (SMTP): 465 port for SSL, 25 or 587 port for TLS.

Incoming server/outgoing server name SSL/TLS: host21.registrar-servers.com
Incoming server/outgoing server name TLS: mail.tqci.com

Outgoing server authentication should be switched on, SPA (secure password authentication) must be disabled.

 

WebMail Interface

These are URLs to access the WebMail interface:
 

• http://webmail.tqci.com. or http://tqci.com:2095 - can be used to send/receive email.  You can also change your password, view client setup parameters, manage Junk Filter settings, manage keyword filters, auto-responses and other configuration settings.

We also provide secure URLs as well. Just use https instead of http. You can ignore the SSL certificate warning message when you access these URLs.
