How important is cache?
Every time you visit a website, all the files
that are associated with that website are stored in temporary files
on your hard drive.
These files are known as "cache" files. If you have a small hard disk, or have
limited disk space,
this may use up most - if not all of your free disk space in some
cases. In order for Windows to function properly,
there must always be some free drive
space available in order to use "virtual memory," where if you run out of
physical memory, it will use the hard disk as temporary memory. If your hard disk is full
and it attempts to use
this "virtual memory," your system may crash.

By following these steps, you can keep your cache files to a minimum and avoid running

2. Click the tab on top that reads General.
Towards the middle of the page, you will see

your hard drive space. The actual amount will vary depending on the
size of your hard drive.  Click OK to save settings.
Click Apply then OK in Internet Options window (see picture
above).

-- TO CLEAR YOUR CACHE --
If you want to clear the files you have

files.  Click OK.  Then click OK at Internet Options to
close
the window.
