Additional Options For Outlook 2000: <basic outlook setup page> <setting up new outlook accounts> <windows home> It helps to be basically familiar with the Tools -> Options section but you will seldom need to worry about the settings in here. Click on the tools menu and choose options as shown below. <next> The options window is pictured below. You probably only need to worry about the following tabs: preferences (including e-mail options), mail delivery and other. The preferences tab is pictured below. Click the e-mail options button to automatically save sent messages or get to the advanced e-mail options section. <e-mail options> <mail delivery tab> <other tab> The e-mail options button window is pictured below. The only notable options are to automatically save (or not save) sent messages and/or to go to the advanced e-mail options button where you have additional options (none of which are crucial to getting e-mail). <advanced e-mail options button> <mail delivery tab> <other tab> The advanced e-mail options button window is pictured below. The mail delivery tab lets you set several options. You can also click on the "accounts" button which links to the Tools->Accounts section already covered in earlier sections. <next> The accounts button window is pictured below. This topic has already been covered in the accounts configuration section of this tutorial. <new account setup> <account configuration> The "other" tab gives you an option to empty deleted items when you exit Outlook 2000.
