Changing Outlook 'Services' to 'Accounts' To set up or edit an account in Outlook, you normally click Tools and select Accounts. However, at times you run into a customer that has 'Services' instead of 'Accounts'. This tutorial shows how to configure Outlook for Accounts (Internet Only) rather than Services (Corporate or Workgroup). Important: you may be prompted for the Microsoft Office CD. If you don't have this, get it first. Note: to set up an account in Services, click here. Open Outlook. Click Tools and select Options from the menu.
The Options window opens. Select the Mail Services tab. Towards the bottom-right, click Reconfigure Mail Support.
The Outlook Startup window opens. Select Internet Only. Click Next.
Select Yes in the following screen. Note: Microsoft Outlook will close and you'll need to restart it.
You may see the following screen while Outlook configures the changes.
Re-launch Outlook. You may see the following screen.
After Outlook opens, click Tools and select Accounts instead of Services.
